The People’s Healing Bus

Our 40-foot mobile wellness center delivers free and low-cost herbal products, health screenings, youth music/art sessions, and holistic coaching directly to neighborhoods.

We create safe, creative spaces that promote healing, support, community, and education while meeting people where they are in a holistic manner.

This hands-on, nature-based program teaches the connection between bees, herbs, mushrooms, soil, and the food web.

Creative workshops including music, art therapy, gardening, STEM, herbal crafts, sensory stimulation, and community murals to help youth express emotions, build confidence, and enhance whole-child development. What is Maxx Philanthropies?

Maxx Philanthropies is a community-rooted organization that advances wellness through herbal healing, preventive education, hands-on learning, and environmental stewardship. We serve youth, families, professionals, and institutions through holistic products, services, and programs.

Who do you serve?

We serve individuals and organizations across all communities—with a special focus on youth, families, schools, nonprofits, and underserved populations. We also support corporations, caregivers, and changemakers seeking wellness, education, and sustainability solutions.

What kinds of products do you offer?

Our wellness products include herbal tinctures, detox kits, multivitamins, juices, self-care bundles, and natural lifestyle goods—crafted in partnership with The People’s Herbalist and other wellness leaders.

As a nonprofit, all product sales directly support our community wellness programs, youth initiatives, and environmental education efforts, allowing us to expand access to holistic healing and sustainable living tools.

What types of services are available?

We offer personalized coaching, herbal consultations, professional development workshops, corporate wellness services, community education, and vocational support. Services can be tailored to individuals or groups.

What are the organization's primary needs/concerns?

We are raising funds and welcoming volunteers to support for the following priorities:

Infrastructure: Mechanical repairs and artistic renovation for The People’s Healing Bus, which also doubles as our office space and mobile clinic.

Program Expansion: Expansion of wellness access in underserved communities; scaling operations and outreach efforts; creation of youth-led grassroots projects for public health and environmental stewardship initiatives; support for our in-house beekeeper to sustain ecology, botanical, and community garden activities.

Research & Evaluation: Publishing results from community-based herbal studies; providing supplies and conducting research for monthly wellness challenges and quarterly case studies; providing mental health, educational, and community wellness assessments.

Youth Mentorship & Workforce Development: Expanding internship and training opportunities; developing fundamentals like life skills, interviewing and networking, interpersonal and business etiquette, conflict resolution, and more.

Capacity Building: Staffing, sponsorship and grants management, and partnership development.
